1. Warranty Coverage Overview

Residential Warranty: 25 Years
Commercial Warranty: 10 Years

Dream Floor warrants that its SPC flooring products:

  • Are free from manufacturing defects, including delamination, dimensional instability, and core failure

  • Will not experience wear-through of the decorative layer under normal residential or light commercial use

  • Are 100% waterproof against everyday household spills and surface moisture

  • Are resistant to stains from common household pets (urine, feces, vomit) when cleaned promptly

All flooring must be installed and maintained in accordance with Dream Floor installation and care guidelines to remain eligible for warranty coverage.

2. Claim Eligibility Requirements

  • Applies only to the original purchaser and the original installation location

  • Flooring must be inspected prior to installation. Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product

  • A tolerance of up to 5% of the material (including color variation and minor imperfections) is acceptable under industry standards

  • Claims related to visual or manufacturing defects will not be accepted after installation

  • Proof of purchase must be provided with any claim

  • Warranty is non-transferable

  • Wear claims must show clearly visible wear-through of the pattern layer

  • All warranty claims are prorated based on the length of time since installation

3. What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing Defects: including core voids, delamination, or dimensional instability

  • Wear Protection: wear-through of the finish layer under normal use conditions

  • Waterproof Performance: protection from everyday spills and household moisture

  • Pet Stain Resistance: stains from domestic pets when cleaned promptly

4. Exclusions (What Is Not Covered)

This warranty does not cover:

  • Failure to inspect flooring prior to installation

  • Use of non-approved cleaning or maintenance products (including bleach, ammonia, vinegar-based cleaners, wax, oil soaps, or acrylic polish)

  • Subfloor moisture levels exceeding manufacturer recommendations

  • Moisture intrusion from leaks, ground vapor, or site conditions not properly addressed

  • Damage resulting from improper installation or unauthorized installers

  • Installation conditions including:

    • Insufficient expansion spacing

    • No 6 mil moisture barrier over concrete

    • Additional padding under pre-attached pad

  • Surface wear not visible under normal lighting conditions

  • Moisture damage from flooding, hydrostatic pressure, or plumbing leaks

  • Use of abrasive cleaners, steam mops, or hard-bristle vacuums

  • Pet damage other than staining (such as scratching or chewing)

  • Damage from heavy furniture, rolling loads, or lack of proper protection

  • Dents from high heels or impact from sharp objects

  • Changes in appearance due to aging, sunlight, or UV exposure

  • Noise such as squeaking or popping caused by uneven subfloors

  • Labor, removal, or replacement costs (unless within 2 years and professionally installed)

5. Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • Use a pH-neutral floor cleaner

  • Vacuum using a soft brush or felt attachment

  • Avoid rubber- or latex-backed rugs

  • Install felt pads under furniture

  • Use non-staining protectors under heavy items

  • Protect flooring from excessive heat or direct sunlight

  • Maintain indoor relative humidity between 35%–75%

6. How to File a Claim

  • Provide photos and proof of purchase

  • Contact your original dealer or Dream Floor directly

  • Submit product details, installation method, and project information

  • Allow inspection if required

If the claim is approved:

  • Dream Floor may provide replacement material or a prorated refund

  • Labor may be covered only within the first 2 years and when installation was completed by qualified professionals

7. Legal Statement

This warranty is limited to the remedies stated above. No dealer, installer, or distributor is authorized to modify these terms.

Dream Floor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use or defects.

Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty unless otherwise restricted by law.

8. Warranty Coverage (Prorated Schedule)

  • Year 1: 100%

  • Year 2: 80%

  • Year 3: 60%

  • Year 4: 40%

  • Year 5 and beyond: 10% until the end of the warranty term

9. Additional Terms

  • Replacement materials may vary slightly in color, texture, or gloss due to manufacturing variation and aging

  • This warranty is non-transferable

  • Labor costs are not included unless specifically stated

If a valid claim is accepted within the warranty period, Dream Floor will provide materials of comparable quality for repair or replacement. Labor and associated costs are not covered unless otherwise agreed.
