SPC FLOORING LIMITED WARRANTY
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Residential Warranty
Dream Floor warrants that this SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) flooring will be free from manufacturing defects for 25 years from the date of purchase when used under normal residential traffic conditions.
Light Commercial Warranty
Dream Floor warrants that this SPC flooring will be free from manufacturing defects for 15 years from the date of purchase when used under light commercial conditions.
WHAT IS COVERED
This warranty covers the following defects under normal use conditions:
Manufacturing Defects - Defects in material, workmanship, milling, assembly, dimension, and grading
Wear-Through Resistance - The wear layer will not wear through to the design layer
Waterproof Integrity - The flooring will be 100% waterproof and structural integrity will not be diminished by exposure to water
Stain Resistance - The flooring will resist staining from common household products
Joint Integrity - The locking system will not fail under normal use conditions
Fade Resistance - The flooring will resist fading from exposure to sunlight or artificial light
WHO IS COVERED
- This warranty applies ONLY to the original purchaser
- The warranty is NON-TRANSFERABLE
- Proof of purchase (original sales receipt or invoice with date) is required for all warranty claims
- Valid only for flooring installed in owner-occupied residential properties or qualified light commercial spaces
WARRANTY PERIOD DEFINITIONS
"Residential Use" means the original purchaser owns and resides in the residence where the flooring is installed. Rental and leased properties are excluded from residential warranty coverage.
"Light Commercial Use" is defined as environments with moderate foot traffic including small office spaces, boutiques, salons, art galleries, and low-traffic retail shops where interior temperature and humidity can be controlled and maintained.
"Lifetime of the Floor" is defined as the length of time from installation to resale or from installation to removal, whichever is shorter.
CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
To maintain warranty coverage, the following conditions must be met:
The flooring must be installed according to manufacturer's written installation guidelines
The flooring must be maintained according to manufacturer's written maintenance instructions
Installation must be performed over approved substrates and underlayments
The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth, and level within 1/8" (3mm) over 4 feet
Pre-installation inspection is required - installation constitutes acceptance of the product
Proper acclimation must be performed as specified in installation guidelines (typically 48 hours at 65-85°F)
Appropriate expansion gaps must be maintained around room perimeter and all fixed objects
For professional installations, reasonable labor costs for repair or replacement will be covered for the first 1-2 years from purchase date
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does NOT cover:
Installation-Related:
Damage from improper installation or failure to follow manufacturer's installation guidelines
Installation over unapproved substrates or underlayments
Installation in violation of state or local building codes
Visible defects that were apparent before or during installation
Subfloor deficiencies, moisture, or unevenness
Installation of cabinets or countertops over floating floors
Use and Maintenance:
Scratches, cuts, gouges, dents, scuffs, or marks from any source including pets, furniture, or abrasives
Damage from negligence, accidents, misuse, or abuse
Failure to use proper floor protectors under furniture legs
Use of non-approved cleaning products or steam cleaners
Damage from rubber-backed mats or improper floor coverings
Gloss reduction (not considered surface wear)
Environmental Conditions:
Damage from fire, flooding, or natural disasters
Moisture damage from plumbing leaks, appliance failures, or excessive humidity
Color changes from aging, UV exposure, or sunlight
Installation in non-climate-controlled environments
Exposure to extreme temperatures outside recommended range
Mold or mildew growth from excessive moisture
Other Exclusions:
Products designated as "Closeout," "AS-IS," "B-Grade," "Discontinued," or "Clearance"
Color or appearance variations between samples and actual flooring
Accessories, trim, and moldings
Noises including squeaks, popping, or crackling
Indentations from heavy furniture or appliances without proper floor protectors
Damage from construction or remodeling activities
Wear must be visible under normal lighting conditions and cover at least 5-10% of surface area
MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM
To file a warranty claim:
Contact the authorized retailer where the flooring was purchased
Provide proof of purchase with date
Provide detailed description and/or photographs clearly showing the issue
Claims must be submitted within the warranty period
MANUFACTURER'S REMEDY
If a valid warranty claim is approved, Dream Floor will, at its sole discretion:
Supply new material of the same or similar grade sufficient to repair the affected area, OR
Authorize repair of the defective area
When replacement flooring is supplied:
Only current products will be provided; discontinued colors/styles may be replaced with similar products
Warranty coverage for replacement flooring is limited to the remaining portion of the original warranty
Manufacturer is not responsible for color or style variations between original and replacement flooring
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The remedies described in this warranty are the SOLE and EXCLUSIVE remedies available. Dream Floor will NOT be liable for:
Incidental or consequential damages
Loss of time or inconvenience
Removal or replacement of installed cabinets, appliances, or fixtures
Subfloor repairs or replacement
Moving or storage of furniture
Any costs beyond the flooring material itself (except labor for first 1-2 years if professionally installed)
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

IMPORTANT REMINDER
INSPECTION BEFORE INSTALLATION IS MANDATORY
You and your installer are responsible for inspecting all flooring before installation. Installation of flooring with visible defects constitutes acceptance of the product and voids warranty coverage for those defects.
